Black eyes and borowed jockeys

Poor Emily had a silly fall at home on a young pony resulting in a really nasty black eye, complete with severe bruising.

This left her "one eyed" and despite her protests we borrowed Charlie dawson to ride Sligo Lucky The Pony premiere last week. Charlie did a fantastic job, winning and qualifying for the RIHS 128cm Winter final. Thanks and well done Charlie you did a great job - and what a great picture in Horse and Hound.

Here we ventured onto 148cm for the Winter JC Final.

Emily rode Spotactular and King Mac, both six year old ponies with few miles on the clock. They didnt let us down, King Mac jumped three great rounds to win and qualify for Hickstead and Spotactular just had a fence down in the second round, despite being so green. We were really pleased with both ponies and they are very exciting for the future.
