We are off!!
The 2016 season is underway with Arena eventing and WHP shows starting already.
Last week we took six to Tushingham Arena Eventing and they all did us proud, with Ruby being the speed demon coming away with two seconds and the babies on the lorry jumping beautifully and doing us proud.
BSPS Area 1B was on sunday 24th Jan and again we were delighted with the performances of all. Ruby was Mini WHP Champion on Jojo (Kyregate Peter Pan) after winning the Cradle Stake and she also win the training stakes and Novice Nursery on Noble Pepper Mint. Noble Batman had a last minute borrowed jockey Darcy Parr who rode him beautifully and jumped a nice clear round the training Stakes. Shaun (Tynymor Tym Sion Catti) came out after his long winter holiday and was his brillant self finishing second and third ( just some tummy toning to do for Shaun)!!!!
Katy Carter had a great clinic on the yard this week and we are hoping for another one very soon, Ruth Edge is with us on 9 Feb ( Call Caoline if interested 07801 946 051)
BSPS Area 2a have a WHP training clinic with Kelly teaching on 21 Feb (see BSPS AREA 2a Website for details, non members welcome)
We are delighted that Topspec have renewed their Sponsorship with us for another year, we cant thank katy and her team enough. Topspec have been with us for many years now and their products speak for them selves.
Anne currently has some lovely saddles in stock if you are in need give her a call. 07768 327 244

With the majority of the shows over and done with now the main focus is breaking and bringing on the next bunch of babies. We are just back from another buying trip and delighted to have found some lovely new projects.
We have some teaching clinics planned with some great trainers (see updates).
The yard is as busy as ever, this week we have said goodbye to Lucy and Bev who have been with us for approx ten years. Good luck in your new home and venture. xx |

Good and bad news over the last month.
Firstly Louise gave birth to the beautiful Nancy, born on 23 January. She has already been over to stay and is delightful.
Kelly on the other hand had a nasty accident in the menage resulting in a badly broken leg, surgery and week in hospital - not part of her seasons plans. The staff on the yard have been brilliant with everyone rallying around to ensure that things can go on as normal as possible. Thanks to all of them for their great efforts.
Emily has had a good few weeks with great results on horses and ponies. She has had some lovely press to which is always a thrill for us.
The weather is horrible and it makes us appreciate our fantastic facilities even more. It is so sad to see the news and the poor people down south who are having a horrific time with flooding and storms.
With plenty of shows now coming up the girls will all be busy getting everything out, look out for Kelly (or Madge) on her scooter who will be in close pursuit!!!!!! |
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
We would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
We are looking forward to the year ahead with some new exciting prospects to both compete and sell. We are lucky and grateful to be once again supported by our long term sponsors Topspec Feeds, Veredus, Cavallo, Equipe (Zebra Products).
Louise is expecting her first child in February so we are all looking forward to the new arrival. |
